Talisman began in 2007 with a simple idea, creating a community where people could receive information, when they needed it the most. Talisman was grown and raised in beautiful Hawaii, by individuals who believe that wireless mobile devices can create a community. The Talisman community is constantly growing, and as it grows, its content will flourish, becoming more productive to its members. Through its partners, Talisman provides members with content rich information via short message service (sms) or text messaging, making wireless mobile devices (like cellular telephones) a true mobile communication platform. No special equipment is needed. Talisman works on most wireless mobile devices that are short message service capable or that can receive text messages, and on all major wireless carriers.
